Ufa is the capital town of the Russian Federation. It lies on the bank of the Belaya (White) River which is one of Russia’s biggest cities in the termsin the beginning of World War II, it was the largest port in the country with its main industries including grain, oats, sheep and tobacco. In the later years it was one of the fastest developing towns in the region with its modern motorway and other forms of transport infrastructure in place. During the period of the Mongol occupation their biggest city was also located here, bashgirdt. After the Second World War, Ufa became an industrial centre attracting companies from throughout the world with its wide variety of factories including steel, automobile production, cement, chemical processing, petroleum refining and coal production.
The current situation has brought about a major decline in the rate of Ufa’s development in the past two years. This decline has mainly been caused by the ban implemented by the Government to terminate the privileges of oilmen to explore for gas and oil in Ufa. As a consequence, all the available resources have been allocated to the government in order to ensure its stabilization. The result of these developments is that the main source of income for Ufa now comes from oil and gas and not from grain.
According to the law of the country, the main industries are the ones that receive money directly from the government. These industries are called the Restricted Free Agents in Russia. Such industries in ufa include gas and oil production, petroleum exploration, oil refineries, oil sales, petrochemical industries, chemical processing, coal production and mining. All these industries are restricted free agents, while others are unrestricted free agents. Any company that has its head offices in Russia and receives goods or services from the above said companies is considered as a restricted free agent.
On the contrary, all companies that do not receive money from the above mentioned sources are considered as unrestricted free agents. However, if an organization is registered with the Financial Supervision Agency of Russian Federation (FSAN) then it is known as a Restricted Free Agent. This registration allows the company to trade in the open market, sell goods and provide goods and services to customers without having to fulfill all the norms of other industries. This is exactly what has made ufa one of the most lucrative businesses in the world today.
As of this writing, ufa’s annual turnover is around $1.8 million and this figure is expected to increase year after year. Besides earning huge profit, there are a lot of other benefits that can be gained by investing in ufa. For example, you can earn a one-year FIFO (first in first out) status, an increased market share, preferential tax treatment, a favorable depreciation schedule, exemption from inheritance tax and a reduction in corporate tax. Other than that, you can also benefit from an unmatchable 50-year warranty on raw materials and supplies and an unlimited partnership benefit for two years.
